February


What can i say about this month? Many say it is the month of romance and many more believe they will meet their soul mate on valentines day. I for one have met so many people who treasure this month.

It is on the 13th of this month February that i lost my truest most bestest and loyalest friend one can ever have... i lost my mother... 1999.

It has been 12 years but still i stay strong. My best friend Chewe has his birthday on the 16th... along with a whole bunch of other friends.

It is in the month of frebruary 2012 that the Zambia National Football Team won the African cup of Nations for the first time inthe nations history after so years of trying.

It is also in this month that my uncle and aunt got attacked by thieves in the middle of the night. Not onnly them suffered such an injustice but my grandmother, old, humble and alone was attacked by thieves and beaten to near death. She was in a coma for over a week.

It doesn't end there. In february of 2012 I lost someone i considered a you g brother, Nawa. It was tragic and i think it was an injustice in all facets of life for he was a GOOD GUY... still hurts me.

It is in this month of this year 2012 that i have found my emotions which had gotten lost years ago... i feel now.

It is this month on this 26th day of it that i celebrate my birthday

So i had a bad dream... it was simple. I was in a car I have never driven before, a Land Rover 110, yes the old one from that ad many many many many years ago where a guy is stuck in a dam and he uses a winch to put the vehicle out? My daughter and I

14th october 2013 On this night my daughter and I ate beef sausages with bread and shared one small box of ceres juice, mango flavour. I will not forget this day because this is the day I have gotten tired of being kind, being understanding and being soft. I feel bad because in all my life today I feel the most worthless. Worthless because in the morning my daughter carried plain bread to school. Worthless because due to not having gas I picked up my daughter after 21 hours from her aunt's house. Worthless because with the money I had borrowed we bought a loaf of bread and 2 beef sausages and the ceres juice so that we could eat. Why are we eating such a meager and mediocre meal you may ask?... Its because there is completely no food in the house. Nothing. So. I sit here and ask myself why this is so.
